7th Math:
The students are continuing to practice solving two step equations.

The students will complete solving/simplifying equations and determining the number of solutions  test on Monday.

ELA: Reading: 7th will complete The City of Ember; they will begin Wonder by R.J. Palacio 8th will complete The Boy Who Dared; they will take their final test Thursday. Writing: The students are writing an essay in MYACCESS about "An Activity That I Do Well." The class continues to study subgenres of fiction. 7th Math: The students have been learning about probability. 8th Math: The students are learning about solving equations, using the distributive property. 7th grade is currently reading The City of Ember.
8th grade is currently reading The Boy Who Dared.

In writing class, the students are learning about the genre of fiction and the subgenres of it.


7th Math:
The students are learning about commission, discounts, interest, tax, and tip.
There will be a quiz, this week.


8th Math:
The students are learning how to solve equations with multiple steps including; the distributive property and variables on both sides.

Quiz will be on Thursday or Friday.
