*The students are working very hard to prepare for the NJASK tests.
*They have been studying the main idea and themes of short stories.
*The students have been writing narrative essays.

Language Arts - Grades 5-8
*The students have been writing persuasive and informative essay.
*They have also been working very hard to prepare for the NJASK tests.
*The students continue to read "Bud, Not Buddy"

Math
*The students are currently studying line plots and stem and leaf plots.

3rd and 4th grade Language Arts
The students are taking practice tests in order to prepare for the NJASK tests.
The students are learning how to find the central idea and themes of stories.


5th - 8th grade Language Arts
The students are taking practice tests in order to prepare for the NJASK tests.
The students are writing narrative and persuasive essays.



Math
The students are learning how to find measures of central tendency.
They are also learning how to make line plots and stem and leaf charts.
