Language Arts Classes:

All students will follow the following guidelines for Spelling Homework:

Monday: write the words 2 times each

Tuesday: alphabetical order

Wednesday: sentences should be written for the number of words selected on your student's list

Thursday: study

Friday: test



Math Class:

We have been reviewing basic skills topics. Currently, we are studying place value.

The students have completed their MARE projects. In class, the students continue to study parts of speech and how to write critiques.

Math:
The students are studying coordinate grids, line plots, and stem and leaf plots.
Please have your student practice their multiplication and division facts at home.

The students are working hard on their MARE projects.
As a class, we are investigating how ocean creatures sleep or rest.

Math:
The students will be learning how to solve multi-step equations.

It's that time of year again...... MARE!!!!!
We will begin working on MARE projects and reports next week.
The students will also be studying figures of speech involving the MARE theme.

Math:
Students will be studying transformations.
The math class will also begin to work on MARE projects.

The book projects were wonderful!!

The students have been studying homophones and types of sentences; their quarterly assessment will be based on their knowledge of those topics.

Math:

The students have been learning how to use formulas to find: perimeter, area, volume, and circumference.
